Months have passed since my last blogpost about the Joe Rusi Project. The album was finished by late summer, and we have used this fall to get a record deal. We ended up signing a licence deal with BigH records in Oslo and are releasing the album december 4.
After returning from New Orleans with the basic tracks, we started recording guitars and vocals ,saxophone on one track, and some percussion on several tracks.

Bluesnews is a national magazine for blues enthusiasts in Norway, that also has some distribution in Sweden and Denmark. They did a 3 full page story on our adventure to NOLA with interviews and all.
As I write this its 1 week till release of the album, and we are looking forward to what people think about the album....
